This pack, for firmware 2.82 and above, has 61 presets for 4CM setups (*), sorted in three different categories :
1 – Pink Floyd : 20 presets
2 – Drives : 21 presets
3 – MISC : 20 presets

1 – The Pink Floyd presets covers 20 songs, and uses snaphots. They’re optimized for fat sounding settings on the guitar amp (lot of low mids/mids). I use them with a Friedman Buxom Betty Synergy module.

2 – The presets from the Drives folder uses each a different drive model and needs to be used with a clean amp. They’re also optimized for fat sounding amp settings.

3 – I made the presets from the MISC  folder for various purposes – covering specific songs, or just a basic setting to be used with a clean/distorted amp etc… They use either the clean channel or the drive channel of a tube amp. Many presets in this folder are very similar, and basic. Even if I made them for myself, with no selling purpose, I chose to include them all.

Initially, I had no intention of selling HX Effects presets, as I made them for myself only, but I got many requests for them, and specially for the Pink Floyd songs… Usually, my presets are for FRFR systems and uses my own IRs, which are a big part of my tone, but those of course are different. This is what explain the low price of this pack, the third folder specially is just a backup of my unit.

I didn’t record a proper demo for these presets, but the video is a cellphone recording from a gig where I used some of them

(*) The 4 Cables Method (4CM) :
Cable N°1 : Guitar to HX Effects Guitar In
Cable N°2 : HX Effects Send Loop 1 to Amp Main Input
Cable N°3 : Amp FX Send Loop to HX Effects Return Loop 1
Cable N°4 : HX Effects 1/4″ Left (mono) Out to Amp FX Return Loop

This way, the Compressor/Drive effects are before the preamp, the Delay/Reverb/Modulations are after.
